Hi there, I'm daniel Rico and I have been working as a webdesigner/developer for about three years now at vertigocreation. I'm experienced with information architecture, interactive design, standard compliant HTML/CSS and I also work on brand identities and print.
I believe in the use of web standards XHTML/CSS, which are clean, flexible and naturally SEO oriented.
I also believe the developer has to adapt his work to the user, not the contrary. That's why I make cross-browser websites which will work on all major browsers, including IE6.
Besides these technical aspects, I think information architecture is one of the most important point when it comes to make a website. When combined to a clean layout and an intuitive navigation, you are sure to build an easy to use interface where any information will be rapidly found.
This is all about user experience.
To get an overview of my personal tastes, here is a list of books, movies and music I recently enjoyed...
